Video Tour of Our New Digs

We love our new offices. We have created a video tour so you can enjoy them too.

Lots of Movement But Not Much Distance

Almost 10 years ago, ArrowQuick opened up shop in the basement of 121 High Ave East. After five years of working in the basement, we decided to move to the ground floor. We relocated to Penn Central Mall at 200 High Ave West. Five years later we have come full circle. Our newest location is at 201 High Ave East. That’s three moves in 10 years within basically a two-block radius. That is enough moving for a while.

Gem on the Square

Our new location is a beautifully ornate building built in 1901. It originally served as Stapp’s Pharmacy and soda shop. The upstairs was built with beautiful bay windows adorning the full length of the west wall. Eventually the building was purchased by an eye doctor and served as an eye clinic for a number of years. Most recently, it was the location for the Mahaska County Hospice.

The bay windows are stunning.

Moving Made Easy

The inside of the building was pretty much ready for us to move in. We added a single wall to divide the front reception area. The offices are well suited for the type of work we do. So with just a little bit of manual labor and some cleaning we were able to move right in on May 1st.

Wall added to front

A wall was added to separate the front area.

What We Love

Some of the things we really love are the high 14-foot ceilings and tin covering (though it has been painted over). The lighting fixtures are original to the building. We also are keen on the windows. Our last two locations had no windows at all. It’s nice to know what the weather is and to have natural lighting inside the building.

Next time you are on the square in Oskaloosa, look for the beautiful building on the northeast corner — the one with the ArrowQuick sign in the window. Stop on in and take a look.
