Redesigned Mahaska County Website
When the Mahaska County Courthouse approached ArrowQuick about redesigning their website, we couldn’t be happier. First, we love repeat customers. It means that we are doing our job. Second, it means that the Courthouse recognizes that technology is always changing and it makes no sense to build a website and the leave it “as-is” forever.
The project had three goals. One, the site had to be easier to use. Two, the site had to be easy to update by County personnel. Three, the site needed to have a new and up-to-date look.
I have gotten nothing but compliments about the website. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out….definitely exceeded my expectations! (Brian Knudtson, Mahaska County coordinator)
ArrowQuick made the county website easier to use by restructuring the navigation. The most important areas of the site are one click away. The site also includes “alerts” and “upcoming events” sections that are visible on every page. It is easy to find important dates and news from anywhere on the site.
ArrowQuick integrated a content management system (CMS) in order to allow County personnel to update the site. This ensures that information can be added quickly and easily. This meets the County’s desire to keep you up-to-date with the latest news and information about Mahaska County public services.
The new visual look uses the flag and county courthouse as the focus. The new website also utilizes more of the real estate on your monitor. This helps with accessibility issues that may arise for people with vision problems. This also fits better visually when being viewed on monitors at high resolution.
We are pleased to have been a part of another great web development project. If you are interested in designing a site for your organization or updating an existing design don’t hesitate to contact our web team at web at arrowquick dot com or 641-676-1031.
