ArrowQuick Reaches Out

Since we started business, ArrowQuick has always desired to be community minded. Many of our team is involved in community groups. Whether it is being active in a local church, helping with the lighted Christmas Parade, or being involved in local service groups, we place high value on the Oskaloosa Community.

In recent days we have exercised this service in a special way. It started with helping on the recent Habitat for Humanity build last summer. ArrowQuick took two work days to swing hammers and run power tools. It was a blessing to see how enthusiastically our team got involved. Even people from our Centerville and Tipton offices showed up to help.

The house is now completed and Connie and Alyssa Van Dalen have moved in. Both report that the house is “fantastic”. Connie is enjoying the kitchen and the extra room to fix great meals. Alyssa is enjoying her bedroom. Both are thankful to the community that has embraced them in such a special way.

Once our building days for Habitat were completed our team was energized to do more. As we brainstormed ideas on how we could help the Van Dalen family, we realized that we could help by providing a laptop for Alyssa.

ArrowQuick partnered with the Oskaloosa Rotary club to purchase a new laptop for Alyssa. The timing couldn’t be better as Alyssa is learning about computers in school. Alyssa is excited about the new computer, as it provides an avenue for her to communicate with her mom and friends.

ArrowQuick is successful as a business only because we work hard to keep things in perspective. No matter how many “days we save”, nothing compares to helping others. We will continue to seek out ways to impact our community. We challenge you to do the same.
